It is increasingly recognised that the human aspects of risk management are critical, but they are little understood. Our book, Understanding and Managing Risk Attitude, co-authored with David Hillson, reveals first insights into understanding attitudes to risk and changing them if you want to through applied emotional literacy. It builds on existing insights into risk attitude, but this time focuses on groups and the workplace to find practical ways to manage risk attitude as a means of improving decision making.
